The rules for earning rewards with Luno

Luno Rewards: the Rules
Luno Rewards is a tiered referral programme which allows you to earn increasing Bitcoin rewards for yourself and those who you refer to Luno (“the Programme”) Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of use and Privacy policy, you agree to be bound by these Rules when participating in the Programme.
Referral details
Luno customers who meet the eligibility criteria below are each given a unique invite code and link (“Invite Code”) which they can use to refer new customers to Luno. Successful redemption of the Invite Code shall entitle both the referring customer and the new customer to the amount of Bitcoin specified in the Programme (the “Reward”). Any reference to a “transaction” in these Rules or the Programme excludes the automated rule-based rebalancing of the Luno Large Cap bundle.
Eligibility
Participation in the Programme is limited to customers with Level 1 or higher accounts situated within supported countries where Luno makes the Programme available, and who are compliant with Luno’s Terms of use. Where the new customer signs up using a different currency, that currency will be used to determine the Reward amount which may result in the referring customer and the new customer receiving a different amount of Bitcoin to that specified in the Programme.
Customers in the United Kingdom are not eligible to redeem Rewards.
Not transferable
Invite Codes are unique to each eligible Luno customer. An Invite Code cannot be transferred, sold or ceded to someone else and it cannot be exchanged for cash or Bitcoin other than in terms of these Rules.
Redemption conditions
New customers may only redeem one Invite Code when making their first transaction after signing up with Luno and verifying their account. To be eligible for the Reward, the new customer must not have made any prior transactions using Luno, must deposit local currency and perform the minimum transaction values specified in the Programme on the Luno platform, and must otherwise meet any conditions specified in the Programme. Please note that the Reward may only be available for use after a specified time period, which will be communicated on your Luno account. If unclaimed, the Reward will expire three calendar months after the day it first becomes available for use, and will expire at 23:59 on the relevant day.
Payment of the Reward
Once the redemption conditions set out above have been met, and after a specified period time, which will be communicated in-app to qualifying customers, the Reward specified in the Programme will be available to be claimed by the customer, whereafter it will be paid into the Luno wallets of the qualifying customers.

Luno reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, adjust or amend the Programme at any time.
Luno Promotions: the Rules
Luno runs events and promotional campaigns, either ourselves or with a selection of partners where customers are rewarded with Bitcoin.
The following rules apply to the use of a promotion code provided to you by Luno or a third party in connection with an event or promotional campaign (the “Promotion”). Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of use and Privacy policy, you agree to be bound by these Rules when participating in the Promotion.
Promotion details
Customers who meet the eligibility criteria below, may redeem the code specified in the Promotion (the “Code”) in exchange for the amount of Bitcoin specified in the Promotion (the “Reward”).
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria is also specified in the Promotion, for example whether it applies to new or existing customers. Where the Promotion is limited to new customers, customers who have made prior transactions using Luno, whether from the same account or a different account, are therefore not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Customers must be situated in the country or region where the Promotion is held and must sign up using the currency applicable to that country or region unless stated otherwise in the Promotion. Customers must also have verified their identity to at least a Level 2 or higher account, unless stated otherwise in the Promotion, and must otherwise be compliant with Luno’s Terms of use.
Redemption conditions
The redemption conditions, if any, are specified in the Promotion. For example the customer may be required to deposit local currency and perform his/her first transaction on the Luno platform to a specified value. Please note that the Reward may only be available for use after a specified time period, which would be communicated in the Promotion. If unclaimed, the Reward will expire three calendar months after the day it first becomes available for use, and will expire at 23:59 on the relevant day.
Redemption limitations
A Promotion Code may be redeemed only once, unless stated otherwise in the Promotion. A Promotion Code cannot be transferred, sold or ceded to someone else and it cannot be exchanged for cash or Bitcoin other than in terms of these Rules.

Seasonal Promotions: the Rules
Luno may run competitions, giveaways or other types of campaigns from time to time (the “Seasonal Promotion”). These promotions may be run ourselves or through selected third parties. Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of use and Privacy policy, you agree to be bound by the following Rules when participating in the particular Seasonal Promotion.
